Dr Tarek Saleh
Currently I am the Unit Lead Gynaecological endoscopy (Keyhole surgery) at Waikato Hospital with special interest in endometriosis, and pelvic floor surgery.
I immigrated to New Zealand in 2004 when I started working as a junior doctor at Waikato Hospital in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I trained in different New Zealand Hospitals with Waikato being my base training centre and I qualified as a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in 2015 (FRANZCOG).
After completing 2 years of intensive post graduate fellowship training in gynaecological endoscopy and pelvic floor surgery (AGES), I became specialised in the surgical and medical management of women with endometriosis and pelvic organ prolapse/urinary incontinence.
I have regular clinics in the rooms at the Southbloc Building on 19 Knox Street, at the Tui medical Rototuna branch on the corner of Thomas Road and Horsham Downs Road, as well as at the Leamington Medical Centre Cambridge and further regular Gynaecology clinics at Waikato Hospital.
Regular operating sessions are being held at Anglesea, and Braemar Private Hospital and further in Waikato Hospital.

Dr Tavaziva Mudzamiri
Dr Tavaziva Mudzamiri graduated with Honours from the University of Zimbabwe. He then moved to the United Kingdom where he trained as a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with two main special interests - advanced laparoscopic surgery and gynaecology oncology. This has driven his passion as a gynaecologist looking after women with diverse conditions as menstrual disorders, endometriosis, pelvic pain and gynaecological cancer. As an advanced laparoscopic surgeon, he believes that the key to a successful outcome for women is to provide the right treatment for the right woman at the right time.
Having trained and worked as a consultant in Scotland, Tava moved to New Zealand with his family in 2017. He and his family chose New Zealand for its beautiful welcoming atmosphere and fell in love with its family friendly lifestyle. Professionally Tava has enjoyed his work in public and private service. He is the Clinical Director for Gynaecology at Waikato Hospital using his broad experience and clinical acumen in a collegial approach to advance the care of women in Hamilton. He is an accomplished surgeon and uses a collaborative approach with his colleague in private, Dr Saleh, to progress the care of women.
